Agri-Food Pilot

The Agri-Food Pilot helps address the labour needs of the Canadian agri-food sector.

 

The pilot provides a pathway to permanent residence for experienced, non-seasonal workers in specific industries and occupations. It will run until May 2023.

 

To be eligible, one must meet all the requirements mentioned below. 

 

Agri-Food Immigration Pilot Program Requirements:

​

  • Job offer from a Canadian employer (outside Quebec) in one of the eligible occupations.

  • Job offers must be non-seasonal.

  • 12 months of full-time non-seasonal Canadian work experience as TFW in the last 3 years (12+ months LMIA required) in one or more of the eligible occupations under one of the eligible industries.

  • CLB 4

  • High school diploma and ECA (if applicable)

  • Must prove settlement funds except if already working in Canada with a valid work permit.
